We’ll walk through the application form together, over the phone or in person. In one conversation, we’ll complete the most critical parts of the application and plan the steps in your mortgage approval. - Step #2: Checking your credit
We’ll run your credit report, then work with you to improve your score if needed. - Step #3: Gathering income and asset documents
Lenders require one month of consecutive pay stubs; W2’s for the past two years; signed tax returns (all pages) for the past two years; and two months of statements for checking, savings, money market, retirement and investment accounts.
